The alarm goes off at 5:30am and Debbie and Lilly jump out of bed to look outside and sure enough there are the lights of Lisbon as we travel up the Tagus River! So amazing the hills lit up and the sun slowing rising. We slowly head up the river and under the April 26 Bridge (what a name!). The bridge was made like the Golden Gate and built by same person. The sunrise is again amazing! We dock, eat and off the balcony Debbie sees the Hop On Hop Off bus stop- we are ready to go!

We catch the hop on hop off bus just across the street from
the cruise dock for 19 Euros each. We take a two hour tour of the city which
would have cost $50 each on the ship tour for a savings of $116! We sit on top
and enjoy the beautiful 70 degree sunny day. We get off to explore the city
center and get some lunch. After shopping a couple hours and getting lunch we
get back on and get off near the ship where we explore some more. We enjoy the
tiny back streets and discover little stores and eating places. Lilly finds an
older lady on her balcony and asks her if she can take a photo- the lady skims
her hair and enjoys being photographed. We enjoy dinner again and Tina, Becky,
and Debbie head to the hot tub to ease the pain of the 7 miles they walked
today. Becky then joins Debbie in the casino to again loose. Another hour time
change tonight and in the morning we awake in Cadiz Spain.
